LOVE received his PhD from the University of Florida in 1973. He is currently the chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Dr. Love has co-authored numerous textbooks in the areas of calculus, probability and statistics, and mathematical methods for scientists and engineers. WERNER P. RALSTON is a retired professor from The Citadel in Charleston, SC. He graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College (1962), and received his PhD from Cornell University (1966). Dr. Ralston began his career as an instructor at Auburn University (1963–65) before joining the faculty at South Carolina State College (1965–67), then The Citadel (1967–2008). cfa1e77820
